We went up and drove through Alpine Loop with our hot chocolate, which was the best. It is so beautiful and nothing gets me in the feeling of fall more! We also went up with some of our friends and rode the chairlift at Sundance which was beautiful and freezing at the same time. I had to curl up in a little ball on the lift so that my legs wouldn't freeze off. And when we got off, our legs hurt like when you are sitting on the counter and then jump onto the floor and your feet tingle really bad.
Also, there were wild turkeys. Like 12 of them.
But, the highlight of fall is a little holiday called Apple Cider Day. I didn't know that it wasn't a real holiday until I was in fifth grade and my teacher asked me what my favorite holiday was. Turns out... Apple Cider Day isn't for everyone. My grandpa told me that it started because one day he just decided to buy an apple press from Vermont (what the?) and then they made apple cider. The next year my mom asked, "When's Apple Cider Day?" and so the tradition started. This has been an epic part of my life for as long as I can remember. And this year it was Rusty's first ever :) Obviously, it was a hit.
We also went to the corn maze with our good friends Chelsea and Michael! It was so much fun. We rode on a haywagon, went into three haunted houses (don't worry, it was during the day!!), did the corn maze, ate a caramel apple, and picked out the most perfect pumpkin I've ever had. Best. Day. Ever.
Halloween for me was spent with 55 princess and superheroes, parades, cookie decorating, and pumpkin bowling. It was so much fun to see all of those kids so excited!! But, by the time that I finally got home that night all I wanted to do was lay on the couch, finally carve my pumpkin, eat Halloween candy and watch a movie. So, that's exactly what we did. :) And even though it may not sound that exciting to you, it was.

So, I miss you!! I'm so terribly sad that all my friends are moving onto graduation and stuff so swiftly! My heart is aching! BUT I hope we get some good times in together before you go! Loves!
