It was Oliver's baptism so we made the trek over to Rigby to be there for that and to see them for the weekend! It was a little bit tough because I was feeling sick, so the ride there and back was unpleasant. Nights were rough too, but I was getting around better by this point so I was still able to talk to everyone and have a good time with them! It was great to have almost everyone all together! My kids had so much fun playing with their cousins!

When we got back to Orem I took the kids to see the Three Little Bears play at the Scera Theater. My friend Aubrey and her son too. It was a blast! I got the kids little snacks and we played it up as a very special night. The play was cute and Henry had a great time. Della kept getting scared and saying, "Oh no, Wolf!!" Haha. Poor thing.
My new primary care physician I got a few months ago is also an OBGYN, so I started going to see him for my appointments! It was so fun to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time! I was really nervous though (and Rusty too) because it took him a long time to find the heartbeat. Until I can feel the baby moving around all the time I really get worried about it being ok. Henry and Della got so excited about seeing and hearing the baby, and when the doctor rolled the ultrasound machine out Della thought he was going to get the baby out of the machine and bring it back so we could take it home. She was very disappointed haha.
Valentine's Day! It is tricky because it's Henry's birthday too, but we managed to squeeze the two together into one! I had the table set up like Valentine's Day for breakfast, and Rusty dressed up like the pancake robot and made pancakes haha. There is a song that Henry LOVES and always plays on Alexa about a robot that makes pancakes, and Rusty had this genuis idea of becoming him for Henry's birthday. We've been saving boxes for a while and got him all dressed up and ready. The kids loved it! Rusty is such a good dad!
For Henry's birthday, he opened up a present from my parents the night before that had a shirt he could wear on his birthday. He had preschool that day so we went and gave a highlight from every year of his life while the teacher lit a candle. Then we had some chocolate cake! We left him for the rest of his preschool and then picked him up and Rusty took him out to a special lunch just them.
The next day (Saturday) we had a birthday party for this little man! He chose dinosaur theme, which was great for me because he chose that for his third birthday so I had all the stuff already haha! We decorated the house, made special food (dinosaur eggs-grapes, dino pee-apple juice, dino bones-pretzels, dino toenails-bugles, and veggies for the herbivores and dino chicken nuggets for the carnivores.) We did a pinata for the first time, and he was so excited about it I think he told me thank you more than 50 times. "Oh thank you Mom, it's just PERFECT!" He is so sweet. We ate cookie dough cake like he requested and opened presents! It was a great party!
Kyle and Bryndee told us about a Monster Truck Show that they were going to and we thought that it would be so fun to go with our kids! Henry has been wanting to see one for a long time. So we called my parents and asked them to meet us close to the arena so we could grab lunch. We had lunch at Applebee's and then headed over to get our tickets, but they were all sold out! So my parents went home, and we bought tickets for the evening show and went home too and then came back out. I'm glad we did, even though I got sick while we were there. Both of the kids really had a blast seeing the giant trucks and watching their tricks!

One of Henry's birthday presents was a trip to the Aquarium to do the Penguin Encounter. For this you get to spend about an hour inside the enclosure with the penguins feeding them and playing with them. Henry was absolutely thrilled about this, and so was I! It was so much fun to share that experience together. We did a short class to learn about penguins, we weighed ourselves to see how much food we would have to eat every day if we were penguins, and then we got to go in! Henry loved feeding the penguins but he especially had a great time playing tug of war with the penguins and their toys!
Another day we headed over to the Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point. We go here pretty often, but this time we did something special! The kids used some money they have been saving to set a butterfly free! It was really cool. You get to learn about the butterfly, pick the kind you want, and then set them free for their first flight! Della was absolutely terrified and hated the whole thing haha, but Henry loved it!

Henry's Highlights:
- Says "Oh bam" when he drops something or hurts himself.
- He turned five! He is so excited and proud about being five!
- He is playing really well by himself with his imagination. I'm so surprised and impressed with his imagination! He can play by himself in his room for a long time now, and he prefers to have time alone every day to just play in his room.
- Asks Alexa to play "Pancake Robot", "It's Raining Tacos", and "Chip" ALL THE TIME.
Adeline's Adventures:
- Asks "Why" all the time
- Says, "pee yoo" for stinky things
- She is riding the electric bike really well all by herself!
- Likes to be naked as much as possible
- Sings Let It Go all the time. In the morning she is too loud so she has to sing outside haha. She loves it, and just sings "Hey everybody! Listen to my song!"
- Says, "Calm down." to us.
- She loves to have two different shoes on
